1. What We Collect

Files you upload — the documents, PDFs and images you convert for OCR processing.

Basic usage data — anonymous stats like file type and page count used to improve service quality.

Optional account info — if you sign in with Google, we store your name, email and profile picture (from your Google account) to provide 50 free credits every month and save your download history.

2. How We Use Your Files

Uploaded files are processed only to extract text for you. We never read, view, sell, share or use your content for any other purpose. Files are processed server-side and the extracted text is delivered back to you as a downloadable file.

3. Auto-Delete & Storage

By default, uploaded files and their extracted results are automatically deleted from our cloud storage after 2 days. You can choose a different auto-delete window (1, 7, 30 days or keep forever) when uploading. You can also manually clear downloads at any time from the My Downloads page.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

We use a small cookie to track your anonymous usage counter (so guests get one free scan before optional login) and local storage to remember your preferences. No tracking or advertising cookies are served by us directly. Third parties such as Google may set cookies — including the DoubleClick cookie — to serve and personalize ads.

5. Data Security

All data is transferred over encrypted HTTPS. Files are stored in secure cloud storage (Mega.nz) with restricted access keys. We implement reasonable technical safeguards to protect your information.

6. Third-Party Services

We use Google Firebase (for optional sign-in), Mega.nz (for secure cloud file storage) and Google AdSense to display ads. Google and its partners may use cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve and personalize ads based on your visits to this and other sites; you can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings. These providers have their own privacy policies. Please review them for details on their data practices.

7. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. You can also delete individual or all downloads yourself from the My Downloads page without contacting us.
